About Yoga Dahlia
This is a space for mindful, accessible movement – offering a range of practices from grounding and restorative to strong and energizing. Classes are thoughtfully guided, with options that encourage awareness, strength, and presence without pressure or comparison.
Whether you’re beginning, returning to yoga, or ready to challenge yourself in new ways, Yoga Dahlia supports a sustainable, self-led practice that grows with you – on and off the mat.
The name Yoga Dahlia reflects the belief that growth looks different for everyone. Like dahlias, each person brings their own shape, strength and complexity to the practice.
Meet Brandy.
Hi, I’m Brandy! I am the founder of Yoga Dahlia, mama to four boys, and longtime student of the mat.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 20 years, not as a performance, but as a practice of presence. I created Yoga Dahlia for people who have ever felt out of place in a yoga studio, because I have been there, too.
My teaching is approachable, supportive, and rooted in permission – permission to meet yourself exactly where you are, without judgment.
During a season of deep personal grief, yoga became the steady place I returned to: the breath, the stillness, the space to reconnect with myself when things felt uncertain. That experience shaped the way I teach – not to fix or push, but to offer a grounded path back to yourself.
Through Yoga Dahlia classes, conversations, and community, my intention is to support a relationship with yoga that carries beyond the mat – into real life, real seasons, and real growth. It starts with a physical practice, but you will likely find it becomes much more.
Styles of Yoga
Each class has a theme woven through it, ranging from lighthearted and uplifting to deeply reflective, offering space to explore not only movement, but meaning. As Yoga Dahlia grows, so will the variety of classes and specialty series offered-always rooted in mindful movement and heart.
- Vinyasa Flow classes include familiar warrior sequences and sun salutations, linking breath with movement to build strength, balance, and confidence.
- Strong Vinyasa offers a more challenging, energizing flow – designed to show you your true edge and remind you just how capable and powerful you are.
- Gentle Vinyasa is a friendly flow that links movement with breath – great for building strength, balance, and confidence at your own pace.
- Yin Yoga practice is Longer-held poses that target the deeper connective tissues of the body, helping to release tension and create space, physically and emotionally.
- Restorative Yoga is fully supported poses using props to encourage deep rest for the body and mind, as well as a nervous system reset; perfect for stress relief, recovery, and grounding.
- Meditation and Pranayama Classes focus on breath, awareness, and nervous system regulation – supporting mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to yourself.
