Meet Brandy
Hi, I’m Brandy – founder of Yoga Dahlia, mama to 4 boys, and a lifelong student of the mat.
When I first started going to yoga studios over 20 years ago, I often felt out of place. I didn’t fit the mold. I wasn’t flexible. I didn’t understand the sanskrit words for the poses or know what I was doing. I wasn’t sure if I belonged. I couldn’t see through the poses to see what yoga really was at its core.
Over time – especially through seasons of personal grief – I discovered that yoga was never meant to be about what you wore or getting poses “right.” I found it was actually a way to reconnect to myself, move through difficult moments, and build real strength from the inside out.
It changed the way I see yoga completely.
I decided to build the space I had been searching for – one that was welcoming, comfortable, lighthearted, and grounded in real impact for everything life throws our way.
Today, my teaching focuses on helping people feel stronger in their bodies, calmer in their minds, and more confident showing up exactly as they are.
Yoga Dahlia is open to anyone who wants to explore yoga without pressure to force their body into pretzely poses, without perfection, and without feeling like they have to become something else to feel like they “fit in.”
